Why aren’t all of my listings showing as available to promote?
I have questions about my credit
How do I promote my listings?
How do I edit my existing campaigns?
How do I see the details of my campaigns?
Where can I see my sales?
Where can I see which items are being clicked?
How do I increase my sales?
Why can't I find my promoted items when I search for them?
Promoted Listings is available to eBay Stores or Top Rated Sellers for fixed-price items. Auction-style listings and auction-style listings with Buy It Now are not eligible at this time. If your listings are not eligible for the Promoted Listings service they will not show up in the Promoted Listings campaign creation flow. Vehicles, Real Estate, Travel, and items categorized in Everything Else are currently not eligible to promote. There can also be a delay between when you list your item and when it shows up as eligible to promote. If you think this is the case, check back in the next 24 hours.
Select your question about Credits
Please select
What am I credited for?
Where can I see my credit?
I do not see a credit for a returned/canceled/unpaid item.
When do I receive my Top Rated Seller credit or my Anchor/Enterprise subscription credit?
Returned items, unpaid items, and cancelled transactions are all credited back your Promoted Listings fee. This process is not automatic and will show up on your following invoice. Additionally, If you are a Top Rated Seller you will receive a quarterly credit up to $30 towards your Promoted Listings fees. If you have an Anchor or Enterprise store subscription you will receive a quarterly credit up to $25 towards your Promoted Listings fees. This will appear in your invoice under “Miscellaneous Credits”.
Credits for returned items, unpaid items, and cancelled transactions appear on your invoice as “Promoted Listings fee credits” with item details included in the detailed section. Credits for Top Rated Sellers and Anchor and Enterprise store subscribers will appear in the ‘Miscellaneous Credits’ section of your invoice. There will be a subheading telling you which month the credit is for.
We first bill you for the Promoted Listings fees and then credit you the next month. We review all transactions to ensure ad fees are refunded in case of returned or unpaid items and cancelled transactions- which is why we keep a 30 day buffer to make sure we take into account all the credits (including returned, unpaid items, or cancelled transactions) which might have occurred over the 30 day period. You do not need to take any action to receive your credit.
Promoted Listings has a 30 day attribution window that creates a lag in promotional credits on your invoice. Credits for being Top Rated and Anchor+Enterprise store subscriptions will be awarded monthly. Depending upon batch or billing cycle, the credit may not show up until the following month.
If a seller uses the entire promotional credit the first month of a quarter, no additional credit will be available until the next quarter.
Promotional credits will expire at the end of each calendar quarter (e.g., March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31) and won’t be carried over to the next quarter.

You are able to promote your listings from your Promoted Listings dashboard by clicking 'Create new campaign'. You have the option to create campaigns in bulk if you are promoting a large number of listings. Most sellers will prefer the option to select listings individually. You also have the option to promote your listings as you list them on eBay. The option to "Sell it faster" will be visible as you list your item from Seller Hub.
Promoted Listings can help increase the visibility of your listings. To help increase conversions (sales) please refer to listing best practices to ensure that your listing titles are accurate with the appropriate keywords and information for buyers to find them. Find more information on best practices to increase conversion here.
Our algorithm takes into account the relevancy of your items to be shown, as well as the ad rate you set up for this item. Depending on these factors the algorithm will choose which listing to show and where. We automatically attach relevant keywords to each of the listings you promote based on the item title. The more competitive the ad rates and the higher the listing quality are, the more likely the listings will be shown.
